Our Pest Inspections are guided by AS4349.3

Pest inspections are not always required but a pest inspection will test the home for termite and borer damage educating clients by means of a report on any conducive areas and areas that require maintaining to prevent future damage to their investment. Every property is different.

Inspection will be conducted by Damien or one of Victorian House Inspection’s qualified building inspectors.

Yes, we recommend a pre-handover inspection when the home is at the completed stage. These reports are done in accordance with the Australian standards and tolerances.

Our Company owner/Inspector has been a Builder/carpenter Damien has built over 200 properties ranging from estate homes, Architectural homes, Apartments and Duplex/Townhouses.

15 years as Builder.

5 years as a Building inspector and pest inspector

Victorian House Inspections is covered with Professional Indemnity Insurance through Rapid Solutions.
Damien is a registered Builder with Building Practitioners Board and Rapid Solutions, in addition to being a member of HIA.

We always access subfloors to the best of our ability. Subfloors are the most important area to inspect as it shows a lot about a house and its structure.

We always access Roof cavities if possible and surprisingly contrary to what other inspectors suggest, we find a majority of termite damage and workings in roof timbers.

As a registered builder we can advise whether the home is suitable for any such changes.
We can offer suggestions and see whether or not it might be viable.

Generally within 48 hours.

Usually within 24hrs, emailed to you or mailed if you request.

However Damien will give you a call once report is complete to discuss his findings and any concerns he may have (if any).

You are more the welcome to be present at the time of inspection. Although it is not necessary we do not mind.

We call the agent/vendor on your behalf an organise a time suitable. You will be advised on the time if you request to be at the inspection. Once the inspection has been conducted, you receive either a phone call or text message and your report will be emailed later that day or first thing the following day.

We issue an invoice with your report.
